This Is An Original 1984 Alva Christian Hosoi Rising Sun Deck, This is the same colorway as the Alva Christian Hosoi Rising Sun board from Sean Clivers "Disposable A history of skateboard art" book from 2004 showcasing all of the influential 1980's graphics from skateboardings storied history.
The board is in great condition it has never been set up or ridden and both the top and bottom is very clean, there is minor scuffs and stains from storage.
The history behind this deck:
This is Christian Hosoi's third pro model from 1984, he rode for Alva for a very short time, none of the original decks from that period exist in any condition, except for those kept under lock and key in private collections, to find one is exceedingly rare And is a must have for any serious Christian Hosoi or Alva collector.
The artwork was done by Tony Alva & Mondo Beck 1984.

Collector Wheels - All itemsa re in New Condition unless noted on the listing or in the title. There are no returns on wheels once the original packaging is torn, or the wheels are used or mounted. There is discoloration commonly in these wheels which is part of the oxidation of the urethane over time. There are no warranty's on the craftsmanship of the wheel once they are set up on a board for use. These are rare wheels, that are likely to never see the light of day again.
